RETREAT INFORMATION
Five days that change your pace
10 — 15 SEPTEMBER 2026
This retreat has a special place for advanced riders.
You'll experience a combination of calm, breathtaking rides through ancient Puglian landscape — and moments to push further, go faster, and gallop across open fields when the terrain calls for it.
Salento's red soil, the Adriatic coastline, olive groves as far as you can see. This is not a manège. This is the real thing.
Morning Pilates complements your riding — strengthening your core, stabilising your seat, opening your hips. You'll feel the difference in the saddle.
If you've been riding for years and want an experience that actually moves you — this is it.
We are in this together.
Please note, the timetable may change slightly — as you know, we are in Italy! YOUR FULL ITINERARYDay One -10th SeptemberArrive & Meet

Highlight of the day: your first morning on the mat, your first afternoon in the saddle. You'll meet your horse today — and something shifts the moment you do. There's a reason people come back to horses. By dinner, you'll understand why.

Highlight of the day: We ride through ancient Salento — sea views and red soil beneath us. Choose your pace: gallop freely, or slow down to visit the Bauxite Cave along the way.
Otranto sits where the Adriatic meets dramatic cliffs and hidden sea caves. Crystal-clear water and centuries of history make it one of Salento's most breathtaking stops.

Day Five - 14th SeptemberSunset over the White city
Highlight of the day: As evening falls, you head to Ostuni for sunset drinks and a gala dinner on a rooftop overlooking the city.
Ostuni — the White City is one of Puglia's most beautiful towns, built on three hills and painted almost entirely in white. Its winding streets, whitewashed walls and rooftop terraces make it one of the most photogenic places in Italy — especially at sunset, when the whole city glows gold against the Adriatic sky.

Getting to Puglia is easier than you might think.
Fly direct to Brindisi Airport (BDS) — one of southern Italy's most connected airports, served by Ryanair from Amsterdam, London, Brussels, Berlin, Dublin, Warsaw and most major European cities. Flights are frequent throughout September and typically very affordable.
From the airport, our Villa is just 20 minutes by car.
A few tips:
Book your flights into Brindisi (BDS), not Bari. Bari is over an hour away and there's no need — Brindisi puts you practically at the door. -
Life is unpredictable. If your plans change, here is how we handle it:
A 30% deposit confirms your booking. The remaining 70% is due by 10 August 2026.
Cancel within 7 days of booking: full refund
Cancel within 14 days of booking: 75% refund
After 14 days and before 10 Aug: 50% refund of deposit
After 10 Aug (full payment made): no refund — credit toward a future retreat, valid 1 year
-
Swimsuit, sun cream, sunglasses and something to cover your head — September in Puglia is still warm and sunny.
Horse riding boots or protective footwear for riding — highly recommended to avoid bruises and ensure a comfortable, safe ride.
Leather gloves — highly recommended to protect your hands while riding.
